In this exhibit visitors are introduced to the physics of lenses, and how they work.

A lens is a device for either concentrating or diverging light, usually formed from a piece of shaped glass. Lenses are used in everyday life in many products, for example in glasses. Lenses can be convex or concave.

  1. Push the button.
  2. Turn the lensholder, choosing either a concave or convex lens.
  3. Move the slider and see the different projections between the two lenses.
