Ferro Fluids - 6.06

Visitors can alter the shape of the liquid surface using magnetic field sources. A black viscous fluid shows the lines of the magnetic field generated by strong magnets. Ferrofluids contain tiny conductive particles that are evenly spread through its liquid and that do not interfere with the fluidity of the liquid. When a ferrofluid is touched by a magnetic field the particles in that fluid will align itself to the magnetic field. Thus the shape of the fluid will change to adjust to the magnetic field, creating all kinds of bumps and spikes.
