Inspiring a new culture of science
On 28 and 29 September, we will be present at the Association for Science and Discovery Centres Conference 2022 in Glasgow science centre. The largest gathering of science engagement professionals from across the UK.
This conference brings together creative individuals who inspire about science and technology. We are proud to be a new Associate Member of ASDC! The community to explore a future vision where science is accepted as a fundamental, meaningful and accessible aspect of everyday life.
Let’s meet each other, share ideas and inspiring practice across the science learning sector.
What to expect:
- Keynote speeches from eminent public engagement professionals and science communicators sharing their insights on how to inspire a new culture of science.
- There will be panel presentations on inclusion, accessibility and recruitment, workshops to focus on equity and reaching carbon net zero as well as a broad range of lightning talks and discussion tables hosted by sector professionals.
- Opportunities to discuss long terms sustainability, resilience and 'what's next' for the informal science learning sector.
- An incredibly exciting opportunity to experience the brand-new Newton Flight Academy.
